Haline holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science and Neurosciences (Univ. of Calif., San Diego) and has 25+ years of experience in academia leading interdisciplinary, internationally-recognized research and education programs in cognitive and brain science of vision, learning, memory, personality and temperament, creativity and mental health. She has over 40 high impact publications and received awards for her research, including funding totaling over £6.5 million. She is currently an in-training counselling psychologist, expanding her expertise to become a scientist-practitioner psychologist, specializing in the role of experience in mental health, especially trauma and attachment. She engages with opportunities to apply this expertise to transform society, public understanding and policy.
